Maize starch is highly versatile and can be easily modified. It is composed primarily of carbohydrates, specifically the polysaccharides amylose and amylopectin, It is naturally gluten-free, odourless, and non-toxic.

Paper Industry ● It is used mostly in the paper industry to enhance the bonding strength of paper as well as corrugated boxes.
